Vintage Inspired wedding at the Trolley Barn - ATL // Abby + Don

Abby and Don’s incredible wedding day was a reflection of their flare for anything vintage and unique. One of the most important things I tell couples is to make the day about what YOU love. Abby and Don did just that.

Abby began the day at the historic Hotel Clermont among her closest friends and family. The hotel was built in 1924 and was recently revitalized into a melodious blend of modern and retro decor. It was the perfect backdrop to Abby’s impeccable style. Her wedding dress was even from the 1930’s!

Abby and Don chose to spend the day separately until they walked down the aisle. The ceremony and reception was held at another historical treasure in Atlanta, The Trolley Barn. The intimate ceremony was tucked away among the fall trees in the courtyard. Don’s reaction to seeing Abby walk down the aisle will always be among my favorites. Completely genuine and awestruck. Abby and Don chose to write their own vows and exchanged handmade wedding bands (again, incredibly unique). Their families and closest friends exploded in applause and cheers after their first kiss as husband and wife.

To wrap up the day, Abby and Don threw a huge party including a live performance from their favorite singer/songwriter Bob Schneider! They celebrated the day with donuts instead a wedding cake and danced all night. Lastly, Abby and Don wished their guests farewell as they drove off in a classic Rolls Royce.
